  1. If you are thinking of picking up a laser more powerful than the standard green pointer, look through this guide first. http://laserpointerforums.com/f45/guide-buying-your-first-green-laser-30608.html The green ones are NOT simple laser diodes. There are a lot of rip offs and so-so vendors. They can be the right vendors to buy from though, depending on how tight you are with a dollar. I found the web site a few weeks ago and it saved me from wasting my money on amazon. Now if I can just find a gen 2 night vision monocular for less than $400... The digital ones are the sca
  2. Here are the full size images. I finally have enough parts in I can start modifying the shotgun, so the opportu
  3. Sure. Should I post the address you gave me or have Makc host them?
  4. What would be most useful? Also, I now have all the new parts and I am going to start modifying. If any close ups would be useful, let me know.
  5. It's a nice piece of work, enjoy. I wish I knew what it took to make a profit selling add on parts. Every time I look at it there is a new widget I want to build to improve it. I'm going to go broke buying the nice stuff others have built. Why should they have all the fun and make all the money! Just because they have the time?
  6. You will see what I am talking about if you replace your stock. You most likely will cut up you shotgun if you want to put on a good stock. The vendors have several hinge mechanisms available to yu at that point. Go to a shop that stocks a lot of AR15 and AK's and you will see how the hinge can be integrated instead of bolted on. Don't worry about me, I am more than capable of designing and making my own. I don't have the time, and it's not a business I want to get into. I was just trying to give you something of the sort you asked for.
  7. You might think of making a non kludge folding stock mechanism. I have yet to see something as slick as on buddies AR clones available. The best I have found is cut the current stock mount up, bolt a hinge to that and then bolt a stock to the hinge. The hinge IS clever, but the whole is a kludge. The slick replacement would be to machine a functional replacement for the part the original stock attaches to but with the hinge mechanism machined in. Then, machine an aluminum mating hinge part and weld that up as the forward part of the stock.
  8. nalioth, I uploaded IMG_5722.jpg to IMG_5741.jpg. On the next file it stopped working. More tries, no luck.
  9. What res and format would you like, nalioth? I doubt canon raw (*.cr2) would be useful to most. Tiff?
  10. Let's see if the attachment shows up this time....
  11. I took some high res photo's of the back of the receiver with the stock removed and the trigger goup and such. I used a macro lens with a spacer so I got raw close up's. Anybody want a copy? Is there a place to save the on the forum? They are around 14 MB, 12 megapixel raw's, but I can convert to jpeg or tiff or whatever. Here is a small jpeg example
  12. destroytec, I found mention that they did, but I can find no recent trace of it. Any idea on where on look?
  13. I thought that was made by magnolia.... Anyway Mississippi Auto Arms is out of that item. The magnolia site is just a bit ...."nonstandard" I don't want to buy from them until I research them quite a bit more. The august problems were defended by folks that seem to understand the problems, but I just don't see enough since then to make me comfortable ordering yet. And I was really hoping for a integral folding mechanism.
  14. There are some threads discussing ISA's with the folding mechanism built in. Are any such things stocked by a distributer? If not, is the DPH ISA about the best choice at the moment?
