    anyone

Well best of luck, what is it that you do?
  2. Not sure, but I think that the Hornady slugs are only sabot's, meaning you'd have to have a rifled barrel to get any accuracy. I've also heard that due to the power behind the slug that they won't work well through a rifled choketube. I haven't tried it yet myself but soon will (just getting a rifled choke from Cobra). Now buckshot would be a whole other ballgame, I'd go Hornady.
  3. I'd agree with that, unless you have a fully rifled barrel (Which if there's one out there for a Saiga please let me know) and shooting sabot's at the 100 yards + I think the magnification is a little over the top. It really puts a damper on any close range shooting as well.
  4. I think it depends on what type of shooter you are and what your using the gun for. If your using it to hunt and are good with iron sights, stick with that. With moving game I'm more accurate with a red dot, so I went with a C-more STS. Mainly because of the 3.5 MOA, and it's lower height. I think the EOtech is a great optic but is a bit large and does sit a little higher. I would also take a look at the Burris, I didn't chose that one (wasn't sure of the stated "paralax free to 50 yards"), but have heard a lot of good things about it. The Trijicon RMR is a bit pricy, the LED was great,

    Quad rail

What's more to say? LOL, how about when will they be in stock.... I sent a post a few weeks back asking a few questions and got a very short response that didn't address their inventory issus. I went with the UTG simply because I needed to get an optic mounted for a trip - in a few months - and didn't have confidence with the Chaos after Camerons response. Am I happy with the UTG, it's an OK rail that will work for now, didn't have to grind anything off so I have the opportunity to still take it back to its original state. It does mount a bit strange, and due to the way it bolts on it'
  6. Thanks for all the input. I'm leaning a little bit towards the c-more strictly on what I've heard about parallax from some other sources. I was concerned about the "parallax free to 50 yards" with the burris. If I don't like it I know someone that may take the STS off my hands, so it's kind of a risk free choice. I'll post what I think about it after I've actually mounted it. If it doesn't work out I'm going to go for the fast fire II.
  7. I'm very interested in hearing the results too. I've been reading a lot of great things about the Sabot's and am intersted in shot's between 75-150 yards. From what I've heard the rifled slugs are pretty decent up to 100 but I'd really like to have the option of accuracy at further distances with the sabot. Additionally, If that doesn't work out - anyone have experience shooting a good rifled slug. Looking for something that packs a punch at 100 yards with very little drop. Like Pyrostevo I'm looking to get some hogs as well, can't wait for my trip to Texas at the end of March! Th
  8. Hello, I was interested in putting an Optic on my new Saiga 12 and was considering a couple different options. Has anyone had actual experience with a C-more STS or the Burris Fastfire II on this gun, or any other gun. Was specifically interested in parallax and durability. Any other feedback is welcomed too. Will be using my little Russian friend for hunting between 25-100 yards shooting slugs. Putting the optic on an extended rail - but don't want the conversation steered that way - there are other threads already covering that topic. Thanks,
  9. Hi, first post here. Just got a Saiga 12 and very interested in the extended quad - a few questions though. Does the installation require any modification of the OEM sights or does it fit over them. Specifically intersted in a 2009 saiga - would like to leave the gun intact if possible. I'm using the saiga as a Texas pig slug gun, and want to mount a red dot to it for quick sighting, any other things I need to consider? Lastly, On your site, I've noticed it says backordered - any idea on when they would be available if I ordered one now? I have to have it by end of February, early Marc
