  1. That is true. I spoke to my gunsmith about it and he said most likely they will restart production but will have "MP5 clone" or "H&K clone" or something along those lines stamped on the gun. They will have to pax royalty fees to H&K so it means the price will go up, but he is guessing they will start manufacturing them again.
  2. I used the Krylon camo paint and the rustoleum camo paint (Rustoleum had brown). I started with a base layer of the sand color Krylon then used a leaf and a small twig with some pine needles on it and started layer with green, brown and black using the needles and leaf as stencils and just moved them around and strayed here and there until i was happy with it. I had so much fun i sprayed my ammo cans also haha.
  3. I love it. Ive shot around 1,000+ rounds within the last 6 months and it gains more and more popularity evertime i take it out. my friends and even some random people at the ranges who ask about it (and in some instances who i let shoot it as well) have all really liked it. Its nice to spend $15-$20 on a brick of .22lr's that may last you a couple trips to the range rather than spending close to that on a box of 20 rounds like most rifle rounds. That was my main reason for getting it, plus if an mp5 ever becomes available all the aftermarket products on the GSG-5 will fit the mp5 as well.
  4. Well i bought a new hand guard which is installed now and i have an mp5 style retractable stock on the way so i played with the factory stock and hand guard. I never paid much attention to camo paint and painted guns before but ive join a few forums and for the most part the members painted guns have turned out good. Im not about to paint the whole gun but i didnt think just trying it out on the couple replaced parts was a big deal. What do you guys think? How it looks now with new hand guard and before i painted the stock. (crappy cell phone pic, sorry) Now here it is with the paint
  5. Thats how i store my other ammo and thats how i was planning on keeping the 12g as well but i wasnt sure if it would keep just like standard brass or steel cartigades. Thanks!
  6. Well i've collected a decent amount in various calibers for my guns but one i was not sure about and just haven't dealt with until now is shotgun ammo. I have a "tacticool" 870 and i keep some 12g on hand but will 12g rounds hold up after a lengthy storage? i understand your rounds should be cycled every now and then but i dont shoot the 12g very often but i would like to have it on hand for any situation that may occur. I did a search before this post and didnt find much so any feedback is appreciated!
  7. badass arsenal! How did you do your camo?
  8. I would really like to purchase some Saiga 7.62x39 mags (New or used, doesnt matter). Perferably the 10-rd caps. If you have made your mods and cant use your factory Saiga mags let me know. I would like to take them off your hands.
  9. I am looking to buy Saiga 7.62x39 magazine(s). I need the standard mag since my reciever is not modded. I live in Maryland so i will only buy a 15rd mag or smaller capacity mags. I am really eager to buy some so let me know what you have and how much for them. Thanks
