  1. We're aronud two weeks out, sight knobs are in their last stage, off to blacking Monday, then laser marking. Great deals! Can't wait to get my quad + sights in the mail. Any further updates on when they will be in stock? -Thanks
  2. Well that worked wonderfully! Thanks! I'll be sure to get a different forearm as soon as I can. It that a well known problem? I did a write up on it here. Post #13 in the thread. There is a video to go along with the post. So far only one quad rail manufacturer seems to have figured out that mounting a rail directly over the gas block conducts energy away from the piston - acting as a damper. There are some very good tri rails (lower handguard) available from forum vendors. If you like a railed handguard, one of those might just do the trick. Awesome, thanks. A lo
  3. Does the chaos rail system put pressure on the gas tube like the UTG does? Also thank you everyone that helped, I love how nice this forum is.

  5. It is glorious with full power ammo. I just don't want to spray that much money in my backyard.
  6. I took off the magwell so I could use a drum, but neither affected it either way. I just have FTEs. When I took off the gas block the ports weren't blocked from what I've seen in other threads. I use the Etac twister puck standard. Winchester super X game loads and cheap independence. Will try that right now, thanks.
  7. I've had my S 12 for almost a year, and I still can't get it to cycle cheap bulk low brass. I've tried everything I could find out. I bought a gunfixers gas plug, a reduced power recoil spring, I've polished the bolt, carrier, and hammer, I enlarged the 3 gas ports from 5/64 to 3/32, and several other minor adjustments. I guess my question is, am I missing anything that would help, or do I need to just bite the bullet and shoot lots of high brass to break it in? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
  8. Awesome, works well with most low brass I still cant get it to work with independencs shells, but I think they're just so bad ill never get them to work. Thx everyone.
  9. In that case I think I will try to polish it myself. Thx for the info.
  10. Can't you also polish everything that needs to be polished by just pulling the charging handle over and over? It is already mirror-like on the edges that contact from shooting. Not the whole surface, just the corners.
