I understand that the Russians might have a lower standard of "Quality Control" but this is ridiculous. This was also my first Saiga. A little heart breaking but she's breaking me in right good (and I thought I'd be breaking her in). Another week or so I'll get it back from my friendly neighborhood machinist. Then we'll see what she's really capable of.

My S12 won't even cycle on a slug. I'm sure am glad I found this forum. Being that this thread helped me find what the major problem is with my S12. Thats right you don't see any gas ports. Though some carbon is in there. It appears that I'm misaligned . Found the answer Modification_to_repair_FTE_issues_on_Saigas_with_blocked_gas_ports.pdf
