but doesn't it leave the possibility to you being screwed when you need to remove your hangaurd retainer or FSB? then your cleaning rod will be stuck on there

Is it even possible to weld on extra material onto the FSB to hold a cleaning rod onto my saiga 7.62x39? I know you can buy a new FSB w/ the lug attachment to hold a cleaning rod...but installation and all that added up will cost a fortune. any alternatives or suggestions on this? thanks!

I am about to buy a bolt on retainer from CSS and I have a handguard retainer with a heatshield as shown in the photo Will anyone let me know if the bolt on retainer from CSS will fit or not with the heatshield shown in the image?

After looking at the prices for saiga magazines, i decided to make an investment into installing a bullet guide to use regular AK mags I noticed there are round and flat bullet guides and I was wondering what type I need for my saiga 7.62x39. I've attached photos, reallly need the help before ordering!

Howdy y'all! I have a 7.62x39 Saiga made in 2009...but I have not cut off the shroud to see if i have threads or not.... If I did not have threads, I was wondering if anyone around Waco, TX does good barrel threading work for a decent price. I know you can rent and purchase the kit online, but I am not confident enough to do this kid of work on my Saiga and would want someone with good experience that will not screw up the barrel.

SO I recently purchased a bulgarian gas tube for my Saiga 7.62x39....and I am wondering if it will fit perfectly onto my Saiga. I've read a couple of posts of people with different origin gas tubes not having a "drop-in fit"....and I was wondering if anyone with a bulgarian gas tube has had a perfect fit without having to modify the parts to fit? thanks!

I am in need of a bolt on Lower Handguard Retainer for my Saiga 7.62x39 w/ AK-103 furniture w/ heatsheild Ive seen many sites sell them for $40+....which I think is a ridiculous price for a piece of metal. I am willing to pay for a decent price.
