Have both a saiga 12 and a Kusa 12. My old drum i bought for the saiga is too loose in the KUSA. I was on here years ago and i remember people fixing this problem with epoxy and filling to fit. Any better ways or epoxy suggestions? Thanks

thanks for replies. Never put a light to it yet but i can find two ports with a wire. they are diagonal like the pips on a dice. gotta get a good bore light and new eyeballs wouldn't hurt. flat primers make me think of reloading books that say its a sign of over pressure. but that doesn't fit as the shells are factory.

I hot my S12 for the first time last week. worked great , slugs and high brass winchester on setting one. then low brass federals on 2. Grandson picked up the hulls and they were in my truck. looked at them today and they all have flat primers. A good firing pin mark but completely flat around the pin mark. Is this normal?

Only could find two ports when i cleaned it, no idea what size they are. Not a bad thing spending money on the fun stuff! would suck large to pay extra for basic performance.

Started out with 13 Winchester and Remington 2 3/4 slugs that were over ten yrs old. then 20 rio slugs that state 1410 fps. then fifty win, high brass 1 1/4 oz 5 shot. Left over was 50 rds of ancient federal low brass game loads, (One box had a $1.84 Kmart sticker) started on gas position 1 and fired away. then i had 2 high brass over 3 low brass $1.84 feds. failure to eject on the first federal. Switched to position 2 and all cycled great! this saiga was made this spring and has a metal thread protector. got really nice group out of the rio breneke slugs, good day!
