i have talked to several people about this same problem. they have all said that there is no way to fix the problem without doing the full conversion. the 7.62 triggers will not work in the .308 guns. the tapco g2 or the tromix triggers will not work without the conversion.

Does anyone know if the barrel on a saiga 12 can be threaded internally? Are the walls of the barrel thick enough? I know that i can buy chockes that screw onto the threads at the end, but I'm not a big fan of them..... On a second note: Can anyone tell me if cutting the barrel down to 14 inches will force me to have to mess with the gas system? I'm clear on the leagal issues, and will not do any cutting without the proper documentation....
