  1. "Collector, my gun looks exactly like the photo Cobra just put up... Also I believe mine is the most similiar to your gun." => that's right !!! "I can take some pics and get some #'s for you and post them in your thread" => I thank you for that ! "Let me know what you want... I'm guessing you will need: 1. gas port - location and size - that will be the only thing I would be hesitant to knock the block off again. I just painted it and I didn't measure it before I reassembled. 2. carrier extension/operating rod - Length & diameter 3. gas piston - length & diameter
  2. Good work on documenting those - I had no idea there were 3 different models imported. If you count the non-imported PG'd version which has an AK-type gas tube, there's 4 => I thank you very much for your pictures : they help me very well ! => may I ask you some pictures of the carrier and the bar who's pushed by the piston ? On waiting, would you agree my best salutations Collector
  3. "This is off topic although I am enjoying this topic. Curious, is that a Marlin Goose Gun in your avitar?" => Yes, it's a Marlin Goose Gun in 12Ga ... one gun of my collection... (a famous gun ! => but you know I love all of them !!!) Cordially Collector
  4. "I am referring to a facist state that exists within our U.S. boundries. California. There it is illegal to posess a semi auto rifle or shotgun like the "evil" AK or Saiga." => OK now I see ! But in France It's not illegal to possess an AK or a Saiga... just you have to ask for the authorisation. I've the autho' but I've buy my saiga "shot by shot" by error...(the seller was not fair) and unhappily it's difficult to import parts of firearms by the gunsmith... "If we could import some like you have, maybe someone there could pretend to be free like those of us in other states" =>
  5. "RAAC should special order some of these for those unlucky souls in Commiefornicatia" excuse-me... RAAC ??? unlucky souls in Commiefornicatia ???? I live in France I don't understand all you write !!!
  6. Hi Cobra 76 two, Thank you for your post about your 410 : It helps me to understand how I can convert mine into semi-auto... cordially Collector
  7. "Just to clear up any confision over this shotgun it is purpose made as a "straight pull", this means that the cocking piece is meant to be manually retracted to reload the weapon for each shot" => that's right !!! " nothing is broken or come loose, it was made that way" => YES "I helped another French guy out buy supplying him the gas port dimensions etc " => OH YES !!! "as he was going to drill his himself on his saiga 12, dont know how about his result but i do know that if he gets caught its "picking up the soap" time in prison" => OH NOoooooooooo => This guy
  8. "You will need to purchase a STANDARD .410 bolt carrier with piston. You will also need to purchase the actual PISTON itself, which goes in the forward most cylinder compartment. Then, you will need to drill out the ports to allow gas exchange freeely thru the shotgun. After all that, it should work in Semi-auto. Good luck!" I thank you very much for your answer => I think that's exactly what I must do !!! I suppose it's easy to "find" a STANDARD .410 bolt carrier with piston, (not in France) But... I need some technical data to drill the ports and there are these data I search...
  9. My Saiga is original (buy like that) Look at these pictures... Now you know as much as me ! What can I do to correct this ??? I thank you very much if someone can help me...
  10. if not, you may need to drill the ports yourself. => I need to drill port by myself ! Is there a gas piston ahead of the bolt carrier extension rod? Is there a gas port from the holes in the barrel into the piston chamber? Does he gas port adjustable blind plug allow any gasses into the chamber? Is there an actual connection between the piston chamber in the gas block, and the bolt carrier extension? Please post some pics, so we can see whats up... => I'm going to make pictures, then I will post them Thanks for your answer
