YAHOO !!!!............. got my 308 today, it too has the 22" barrell...model #139 8rd....man, these are lighter than expected. i got it thru RSR in Fla (in Stock) i have had a 223 on order since mid april....I got a little nervous when another member posted that the sportsters will no longer be imported. I hope my 223 order gets filled. well, i will stop by wallyworld to get some ammo for this weekends baptism. I will then order some of that s african ammo from aimsurplus

i have been looking for a 223 with no luck.......308's and x39's are out there....anybody know where i might find one? You might start by checking with the Saiga distributors: http://www.raacfirearms.com/distributors.htm There are several distributors (FBMG=PvtPyle, Gilberts'=KySoldier, TheGunSource=TopGlock) represented by forum members also. well i just had my local pawnshop order a 223 from the RSR group here in fla...said they were coming in on 4/20/06....thanks for the help
