Any thoughts about how to low mount an aimpoint m3 style red dot to this rail? I just ordered this rail and can't wait to mount it.

Thank you all for your input. has anyone tried to install an AK-007 RFS or BFS? are they worth the extra cost vs the ace? What is the installation like? also, midwest industries has a hand guard that comes with a built-in aimpoint mount (ML2 MI-AKH-ML2), anybody try that? How is the zero retention?

Hello everyone, I'm so glad I found this forum. I'm genuinely intrigued by the saiga 7.62x39, and despite being infinitely more familiar with the AR platform (ex US Infantry), the cost differential is too substantial to ignore. There are some things I need feedback on though: -- How much effort is the full AK conversion for a beginner? I'm a good woodworker, but lack the skill and tools for much metal work (filing/dremeling I can do, but I'd like to keep it low risk). Last round bolt hold open and standard AK mags would be part of the project. -- I like the idea of quad rail
