  3. Its hit and miss. Im going to give mine a "fluff and buff" and see if that helps any.
  4. Kel-Tec has already sent me the new assembly pin...so thats good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cs4_u3vVLtM
  5. Hey he's been away on missions for a minute...he's a bit rusty but we have some good ones plannedTell him welcome back! My boy is currently "busy" as well. NSDQ! I did....tell your young Nightstalker to say hi to OperatorERROR if he ever sees him on the compound he's a 15T in second batt with the new MH-60M models.
  6. So true. I just got complacent and didn't double check myself like I do every other time....every time I look at it still I get all depressed. Not because of what happened but because I let it happen...you know lol
  7. Of course your one of the "perfect machinists"....lol jk
  8. Roughly how expensive? On the AR15 side, people will drop a few extra hundred $ to shave a few more oz. AKs are cheaper to get into, but are much more limited on where they can shave weight, so lightweight parts outside the receiver/bolt/barrel could draw a premium price.Yeah I'll get two wood ones turned and milled into brakes one for test and one to stain and show. As for the Torlon.... I looked up a 12"x12" square 1" thick and it would've cost $2600. So a solid foot long, 2" round stock is very comparable. The Torlon brake I machined recently I messed up on but that will be the test one.
  9. Yep...I plan on it this week because of the PMR-30 break. I'll also do a fellow up of the Chiappa Thinks as well.
  10. Yeah for the $320 I paid for it I really want to like it too! FN 5.7x28.................. Funny you mention that....I have a "Kel-Tec PMR-30 vs FN-5.7 You Decide" video on the way.....it will most likely fall to the FN-5.7 for the win lol Not really...its picky. I think its a combination of under powered ammo and magazine pressure. When I get it fixed(assembly pin cost $6) I'll do a mag test video. Oh yeah the PMR-30 broke last weekend! the assembly pin that holds the slide assembly on the frame sheared in half. I got it on video and that video is done waiting to upload as

  12. Next materials to be tested are acrylic and nylon. The acrylic almost looks like frosted glass and the nylon has a marble look to it. Keep in mind these pieces are just with the turning cycles completed.... turning, drilling, boring and threading.
  13. "No informational purpose" is the point lol. He is making fun of all the people on YouTube that get their "training" from other YouTube videos and the Magpul DVD's.
  14. Well "canine" refers to "canis" the family that includes dogs. "K-9" refers to a working dog such as a police dog.
  15. And to think.....he adlibbed the whole thing on the spot lol.
  16. Thanks Hey he's been away on missions for a minute...he's a bit rusty but we have some good ones planned
