  1. My dust cover is slightly shifted to the left so I have to push it to the right when I close it but that seems to keep it even more stable. Finish looks OK and everything looks good, nothing canted too bad. Plan on shooting it in a couple of weeks. Added a Bonesteel folding stock and an ATI Scorpion grip with a new short grip screw and bushing from CarolniaShooters. The new grip feels and looks great. Just got in a buttstock pad also. I wouldn't say the gun was perfect but I don't think I'll need to send it back for warrenty work. I do think a $1,000 shotgun should be in perfect shape a
  2. Ok - Maybe a stupid question but just had to ask this. I read that some folks are purchasing a second Vepr 12 as an investment because they think these things will get real scarce after this initial shipment. Anyone think there's any truth to this? Will additional shipments be arriving? I've already seen the price go up a little on some sites.

Hey - Is anyone picking up a second Vepr 12 for the investment in case these get scarce after the initial shi
  4. Just installed the Bonesteel and it dropped right in. The biggest issue was getting the dang original stock off. I had to bang the hell out of it with a malot but it did come out. Also pulled the grip off to get ready for a Hogue and found the grip screw and bushing to be cross-threaded so ordered another set from Mississippi Arms. The Bonesteel unit is great.
  5. Picked up my Vepr 12 last week from Atlantic (just before Sandy hit) and the dust cover was a tad crooked - not the rail but the cover itself - no worries. Also ordered the Bonesteel folding stock and just installed it and it fits and works great. Be aware that after you remove the Tapco stock's 2 screws you will have a hard time getting the stock out as it is in there real tight. Had to bang the hell out of it with a rubber malot and screwdriver to get it out but it WILL come out. Removed the pistol grip getting ready for a Hogue grip and found the pistol grip's screw and bushing were strippe
