Hi all...Im new to this great site and the S12. I bought a used s12 a couple of weeks ago and converted it with help from this forum and CSS videos. Im an avid shooter and collector and have never caught a bug like this one. I cant stop thinking of what to get next for the s12. I shot it the other day during my requalifications for work and it shot great with everything including low brass7.5 and factory plug. Now Im thinking of adding a micro red dot sight like the JP or Burris. Has anyone had any experience with the above sight on an S12? Thanks in advance

Ok I'm a dumb ass! problem fixed...... 16 ga from a 12 ga box don't work in Saiga 12. Thank you all for your help and will let you know how my first shoot goes hope not to get kicked off the forum for being stupid.

Yes I let let the bolt go by its self and the bolt grabbed the shell from the mag and pushed it way into the chamber, i had to use a cleaning rod and tap it with a mallet to get the shell out. I guess i'll know more when i shoot it Wednesday. Thanks

Hello everyone. I just finished converting my S12 with the help of this forum thank you. I have not shot the gun yet and was planing on doing so this week. However I just read a topic on trouble loading a full mag with the bolt closed so I tried it with my gun. I hand cycle a ten round mag with high brass loads and the rounds would go all the way into the chamber (including the rim of the shell) where the extractor could not reach it. I haven't done any kind of mods to the bolt or carrier, Do I have a problem with this gun and is there a fix?
