Thanks mrapathy2000! I am aware of the need for US parts in a modifed Saiga. I doubt I would modify the rifle if I bought one. I am just curious what mag people use when the modify the Saiga .223 rofle. Mags for the 7.62 modification seem to be readily available.

Any particular reason you chose this length?

Where do you get hi-cap mags for the Saiga .223? The only place I have seen them is at CDDN investments and they say "THEY FIT SAR3 ONLY" http://www.cdnninvestments.com/aksaron223ea.html SO where do you get your hi=caps?

Hi Thinking, That description you gave of the Norinko trigger pull is the same thing I heard about the Saiga .308 Only the .308 version not the 7.62 or the .223

I heard thet the trigger pull on the Saiga in .308 was kinda strange. Kind of in the up & back direction. Anyone have any experience with this?

Hi I'm new here. I just started getting into AK type rifles. Didn't realise that Saiga made a shotgun with AK action. Anyway I'm thinking of getting a shotgun for the wife HD. How is the recoil on the 12 ga? I assume that since its a semi-auto that recoil would be less than my Reminton 870 pump. Is that true? Would I be better of getting 20 ga? Thanks zeekh
