  1. Interested as well. I can't even seem to find a list of factory models. Anyone know if the ones from armsofamerica or atlantic with the Hogue grips are factory installed? They seem to be the same config, but am concerned about the quality of the conversion. I've also seen varying accuracy using surplus ammo, anywhere from 2 - 6 moa.
  2. Thanks for the replies. No, the gunsmith wasn't offended in any way. He was actually a bit suprised it was significantly lighter than his other mods. My main concern is if I use a sling in a tactical shotgun course, and if for some reason I forget to engage the safety, and by some dumb luck the trigger catches something.... Again, my concern is just peace of mind - none of my other shotguns are this light. So I gather that this isn't out of the norm for my modified trigger? The gunsmith didn't polish anything, just used it as is out of the package.
  3. Hello all, I had my Saiga-12 converted last year using a tapco trigger from Carolina Shooter Supplies. The work was professionally done through a local gun shop. Upon taking it out for the first time, I found the trigger just too light. I asked the gunsmith, and he stated the tapco trigger tends to be on the light side. Using his trigger scale, it come out to just over 3 lbs. We tried some of the other converted saigs in the store, but they came out closer to 3.5 lbs - still too light for my taste, but still better than what I have. I'm told there really wasn't anything he could do s
