oh my, well thanks guys. I ended up pulling out my rubber mallet and then covered the dust cover with a towel. With a solid WALLUP it went right in without an issue. I then took it off again and used the same procedure to get it to seat correctly again. Good thing is, i can dissamble and reassemble this thing rapidly now. nothing like repitition. haha Sorry my first post was a lamo and thanks for the help. you all are great!

Greetins all, I'm a long time lurker around here but first post here. woohoo! I am also the proud owner of a Tromix S02, that has been sitting in my safe for almost 2 years now due some other stuff i had going on. She is a beauty, thanks Tony!! Finally got around to dissassemble/lube a bit and re-assemble last night (hoping to take it out tomorrow) and now I cant get the dust shroud or upper receiver back on cleanly due to the upper receiver latch/button not engaging past the upper receiver. the front of the upper receiver appears to be seated properly in the front notch. .
