Maybe a 50 Beowulf upper with a good brake on your AR will stop those hogs in their tracks.

Being in Cali 10 rounder gets my vote and I would buy a couple.

Saiga-12 ran before conversion, now stovepipes every round

Try removing the charging knob, use the original puck and knob making sure it's screwed in all the way. Add some lube on the hammer face where it contacts the bolt carrier and see if it hand cycles smoother. If you run it with all the original parts ( except the FCG since you converted it) and it still won't cycle, then your trigger group is causing excessive drag on your bolt. Could be a stronger hammer spring, taller profile hammer slowing up your bolt causing it to fully cycle the next round. Polish up your friction points and lube it till you're cycling rounds like before you converted it -
A little Gunslick Graphite lube on all friction points in the bcg.

Looking good so far, can't wait to see it in it's final form. I know mine went through a few phases before I settled on the current outcome,

Has anyone heard from Pauly?

Wow! After reading this thread I hope Paul has a better 2014 and I pray all you guys get your parts back completed. From talking to him almost a year ago, I got the impression that he is very passionate about everything he does and will stand up for what he believes. Paul I'm sure you want to be remembered for the awesome work you've done on customers bolts, even if it's taking a year to do it just get it done bro! Happy New Year everyone, I hope 2014 brings all your parts back! -
Nice looking build.
