I shot my MKA with the new TAC-12 lower last night. All I can say is this is definately a game changer for me, all the little bugs I had with the mags and an occasional FTF have vanished. I also think the gun seems much more solid and seems to shoot with slightly less recoil (my opinion). I know one thing, it sure got alot of fingerprints on it at the range from all the "that's cool" crowd. I am glad I made the move on this and feel it is a good value definately for the competition shooter like myself, it gives me that little extra confidence I was lacking in the platform previously. I think overall that Firebird did a great job with this and think they deserve alot of credit for taking the time to produce it. Now if they only offered it in a Nickel-Boron coating...I would be a buyer for another one.

Thanks for sharing that Jim...I lived in Phoenix many years and watched a lot of races at Firebird lake and saw many drag boats. It was always a good time. Glad you are still alive and kicking and putting out top quality products for people like me to enjoy.
I just got my lower and love it, I hopefully will be shooting it for the first time tomorrow at our action shotgun match, I am looking forward to putting it through it's paces.
Thanks again.

Nice Job !! Good shooting and the stages looked fun and challenging.

I think with alot of new stuff out there for the MKA platform, there will definately be some very cool weapons being nuilt.
Hats off to the guy's that are stepping up and offering these things, despite the risk and newness of the platform.

Nice Job !!! Just make sure you don't drop it in the woods...you may never find it...LOL

I got my TAC-12 lower today. I assembled it with the parts from my stock lower and the only issue, which is noted in this thread was, I had to file the upper for the bolt hold open to work (really easy) and drill out the hold open lever so the pin would fit (easy also). Other than that all else fit great. I will not be shooting it until next Thursday and will update then.

Keep it simple......Fits MKA 1919......Fits XN Only

They hang shells down, no problems dropping ammo yet. Also when you grab them, they are setup to naturally go into the mag opening facing the proper direction. Shells to the bottom and brass towards the front, grab from the belt with left hand and right into the magwell.

I use some homemade belt clips I bent out of flat aluminum...they work great and cheap too. Just put some HD Velcro and your done.
Here is a pic. (they are 2 1/2" W x 3" L)

I resisted cutting my lower until there was more feedback from the community. Looking back, I am glad I did. I never really disliked the factory stock anyway, so I never really felt there was an advantage to cutting it.

Well whoever bought it can do whatever they want with it...with that being said, I would make getting the next one a little harder on them...can you say blacklist or maybe " no problem...you are number 2,675 on the list, we will call you when your's is ready"

I was kinda surprised to see this on GB...since I haven't even received mine yet...the price was a little shocking too.

I just got one of these to mount on my new Tac-12 lower. I will let everyone know how it goes after testing. Here is a link.

I would e-mail RAAC (Clyde) and ask him, he would probably know, even though he is the US importer.

Houston...We have a problem. I hope all the new XN owners, take a minute to make sure all the accessory parts they order, will in fact work. I also hope that these manufacturers that produce these parts will try to catch up and let everyone know if certain parts will not work for the XN models... seems some do and some don't. Good info I'm sure will be posted here as things progress.
Obviously yours doesn't look right.

If you get on the list, I was told it won't be long.

It's been there a long time...coming soon.

That may be true...but I never said I wanted one. Even with it available, I shoot mostly competition, so not really feasible for they way I like to shoot. So far the mags available work great for me.
