Ok, I've got a Saiga .308 with a 21" barrel. The rifle is unconverted, mostly stock except for tritium night sights and aftermarket recoil pad .. I usually keep it as an open sight rifle but do have a 4x44 scope set up on the side mount picatinny.. Usually with the open sights, prone, I can hit 3"-4" groups all day (yes the tritium sights are quite bulky and unrefined at this distance but they "improve" in low light).. Standing, Offhand at 100 Saiga opens up to 6" inch groups, but still inside the black of a small bore rifle target at 100.. Have been shooting my Remington 700 .308 a lot l

Ahh..yes.. seasoning.. will definately have to season a few hundred more rounds soon! Afraid to say it but im a habitual once a range day cleaner..

Had a fun day at the range. Loctite held up fine. Saiga flawless through 60 rounds.. She's cleaned up ready to go again!

Yep, the friction was greater before tightening down actually.. as it dropped the friction decreased.. no big, will try this medium loctite .. shot a message to Meprolight in case I was missin something.. Btw: figured out today i couldn't reply to the forum from my android.. have to figure out why not, make responses faster..

Hola from Southern PRK.. 1st post here.. soo.. recently purchased a Saiga .308 with the 22" barrel.. got about 100 rounds through it and am stoked with the results.. More accurate than expected .. factory 100m accuracy says 98mm but I think I'll be able to do quite a bit better.. Anyways, I plan to run it as a scoped rifle mostly but have added a set of Mepro nightsights zero'd at 100 (for backup or tactical neccesity) .. Ok, Installed the sights fine and got the zero down but the front sight post is very loose at the current setting. not nearly as tight as the stock front
