  1. However... There is NOTHING wrong or illegal about improving a patented design and getting your own patent based on those improvements. From what I've seen of MD's patent on the DS mags, you're going to have a hard time with that.

So, improving the design specifically to work with the Vepr12 could be re-patented and manufactured for profit?

  2. Check out Canis design group, they make a M4 adapter as well that is a one piece.  But of course neither will work on the welded open factory folders.  I just got the firestorm this week from CNCWarrior and it interestingly has 5 fins on each side instead of 3.  I like it better, I think, but have yet to test it out.

  3. I got a Hanson (Irwin) tap from Ace Hardware.  I thought they were HSS at the time, but it turns out they were carbon.  It did not break regardless, but I was extra careful because of the stories I've read on here.  I think Grainger sells the HSS ones, but you might need a contractors license to buy from there.

  4. I know they are legal, but it's unclear if they can be legally used on a gun with a folding stock.  It is not clearly defined, and therefore open to the interpretation, of how "of like kind" a semi-auto shotgun is to the streetsweeper.  Chances are it is fine, but I'm not trying to be bankrupted by lawyer fees in the off chance a cop thinks it isn't.  Unless someone can post an official letter or court case clarifying the law.

  5. File the hammer axle down on one side so it clears the BHO.  The plain G2's won't clear, but you can buy the pre-modified tromix version for a little more.  C.S.S used to have a diagram showing the difference's, but I couldn't find it.  I just filed mine down to match the dimensions of the stock hammer.

Tactical T, that is the modified one that will drop right in, the one you have to file is around $29
