lol btw, finally taking the MKA 1919 to a gunsmith for the stock cut, not doing it myself. I drew the line at cutting my guns up

Waiting on the adaptor to get here, once it does I will get the conversion done and post pictures And then my MKA 1919 will get "stolen" just like my AR-10 did

Okay, finally got to go out to the range and shoot my MKA-1919 today and had a big issue with the factory 10 rnd magazines. I would fire 1-2 rnds and the magazine would fall out of the weapon. Now being that I thought, well maybe I didn't fully seat it, I tried again and made sure I had seated it firmly. Again after firing it twice the magazine fell out. Now puzzled I tried the second 10 rnd magazine I had, same result. Again and again both of the factory mags would fall out of the magazine well within 1-2 shots. Now the factory 5 rnd mags worked flawlessly. Even the 3inch Magazine I

Honest question, based on peoples experience, how hard is it to cut the stock yourself?

lol got the handguard today, love the look, busy installing it. Also got a mako recoil stock and mil-spec tube for the adaptor. Just need the paypal email address?

Just spent an hour installing the trigger, sear, and hammer. Can't wait to get that handguard. Gun show this weekend so I will shop around for a stock I like as a replacement. Once I get an adapter and find someone to make the cut for me (hell I am not cutting that stock, not that brave) I will be complete on modding, and it will be time to start shooting lol.

Shot you an email as well. Wish you had the stock adaptor ready, with your foreguard I will be at 5 parts and ready for that part of my project. (Still wanting a larger charging handle )

Just wanted to say thanks to Carolina Shooters supply. Just got my parts today for the MKA-1919!!! For the rest of you, just to see if I am tracking right. This is what I ordered: Tromix Trigger assembly (counts as two parts from what I see?) Firebird Hammer (1 part) Gas Piston (1 part) So that should put me at the 4 parts needed for 922©. Still going to go ahead and change out the foreguard since I like the Tooth and Nail armory one which would bring me up to 5. Am I correct on the counts? (since I intend on doing a collapsing stock and already have 3 ten round magazines

Lol already have my mka 1919, need the parts to mod it Liking your fore guards the best so far though. Just watched the install video. That was why I was asking about a mod kit.

Wouldn't the charging handle count as the "operating rod" (cocking handle)?

Curious, does the charging handle count towards 922©?

Just got my magazine extension today. Attached it to the 3 inch 5 rnd magazine. Cycles well, no issues with the factory spring.
