  1. Thanks cap, ill go ahead and do that. Guess ill just have to use a crush washer to keep it on. Sure wish I had the plunger pin to keep it on tho but I guess it be silly to have the barrel turned down just to have a front sight post with a plunger pin put on
  2. Hello and thanks for any feedback that can be givin. My vepr did not have a threaded barrel and I purchased a Manticore ak74 nite brake that I want to attach. I was planning on having a gunsmith thread the barrel for me anyways but the nite brake is in 24mm and my barrel is much smaller I assume would be 14mm. I looked on kvar at front sight posts with 24mm threads should I go that route or would it be best to have the barrel threaded 14mm and get an adapter to 24mm?

i also got 3 md20's and am still adding to the collection.
  7. Thanks looks like I'm gonna go ahead and pick it up.
  8. My local gun shop has a 1919 for $600 I have a siaga 12 but I like the look of these and want one however the one they have is all polymer. The ones on here look like they have a metal lower. Is this a new model or the original with a new lower added on to it? Just seeing if I should buy or wait until I can get a current model? Thanks
  9. well Gents i knuckled up and got her done still got more to do but here she is
  10. just got done converting my 12 and now im looking to own a 308. im not looking to get super gouged but i also am not a cheapskate either. converted or non converted. i know the work that goes into good customization and am willing to pay for it. thanks for your time.
  11. I'm a union chemical operator in beautiful sauget Illinois for a performance additive oil company. Not the dream job but hey it's 29/hr and I've got full benefits so I'm thankful everyday. Plus a little ot allows for new saiga toys whenever I'm feelin the itch.
  12. Thanks for the replies. I looked at tromix and it appears they aren't takin jobs for quite awhile. Im not hopeless in a workshop so i believe im gonna read up some more posts and think about doing the conversion myself. As said i really dont wanna be without my girl for too long and i am still waiting on a few internal upgrade parts to arrive anyway so i have a little time to do some homework. Thanks again
  13. First off i appreciate the site and thanks to "dad" for guiding me to copes. Q: i recently bought my s12 and just put a kick lite stock on it which I like but realized i need the trigger assembly converted. I dont wanna risk nor have the time unfortunately to try and convert myself. Also was wanting ports drilled and internals polished the whole works to get my girl ebony cycling like a champ. Is there somewhere i can send her off to have this work done. Im in St Louis and cant seem to find a smith that can oblige me. Thanks for your time.
