  1. Has anyone had any luck finding any aftermarket stock sets for their Saiga M's? I've installed a midwest industries quad rail for optics and I think it would look a hell of a lot better with polymer furniture or a regular stock and pistol grip. The only few options I can find is modifying a choate machine and tool mak 90 stock to fit or having a custom wooden stock made at iron wood designs. Neither of these sound appealing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  2. I used 200 grit on the hand guard and sanded the finish down and #0000 steel wool on the stock and then used mineral spirits to clean it all up. I think if I had to do it again I would have gone right over the original finish, but unfortunately I was firing it on a rainy day and the water screwed up my original finish so I was forced to do some sanding.
  3. Mostholycerebus, I gave mine the minwax treatment with six coats of their tung oil and it came out very nice. Although stock and the handguard came out a bit different in color
  4. I guess it is made by Tapco. Damn I guess it will have to be converted. Thanks for the help

  8. I just got an email back from stanley's pro shop. He said they should be arriving monday or tuesday. I am going to try to order mine ASAP and have it overnighted so I should find out soon. He believes they are going to run about $75.
