Thanks GunFun FOR THE HEADS UP ON 922R compliance.I have purchaced and installed a Phoenix Technology kicklite buttstock with pistol grip,Phoenix Tech three rail forearm .Also an American made puck Tapco I think.And I also put and adjustable breached type choke on as well,also American made.This is probably the funnest weapon I have.When I pull it out the the case at the range it draws a lot of attention.Pop in a 20 round drum and bump fire till empty really gains attention.Back to the SGM mag thing.Holding the mag in your hand facing forward the half moon cutout where bolt grabs the next roun

Hello forum members I am new to the Saiga .I purchased one just before the tragedy in Connecticut for $650.After taking the weapon home and unpacking I realized that it was literally dipped in cosmoline.I disassembled it completely and gave it a good scrub down,and generous oiling.Went to range next with everything from 00 buck to # 7 with no cycling issues at all with stock mag.I did have some fte with SGM 10 rounder but after close inspection noticed the top of the SGM mag was slightly different than stocker.Broke out my round file and opened up the back of mag where she'll ia grabbed off to
