  1. So being in ny and only being able to use 10 rd mags, I have a bunch of original saiga mags. I just bought a second 7.63x39 and I was thinking of putting a bullet guide in it so it could accept any mags. If I do this can I modify the saiga mags to work with the bullet guide? I hate to have mags that would only work in one of my saigas
  2. Has anyone purchased the s-12 sporter laminate from saigastock.Com? I was wondering about the quality. Being in ny I'm very limited on options.
  3. Well here's the situation. I live in New York so I can't convert it or put a pistol grip on it. And it's for my wife. I wanted to get her somthing like this http://www.saigastock.com/mobile.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=6393 I just didn't know if I would be able to effectively use the foregrip I don't know where to get wood like that for the 7.62x39
  4. Is it possible to use a saiga 12 wood for end on a 7.62x39. I figured it might take a little fabbing, but without ever seeing a saiga 12 in person I cannot tell.
  5. Im working on making a "conversion block" of sorts so that my saiga can accept Remington 870 stocks. I also live in new yorkso my next best option is the magpul shotgun stock
  6. To start off I live in NY so a full conversion despite how much I want it is out of the question. My favorite gun up until I bought my saiga just recently was my wimgmaster 870 and firbthe last several years I have been using the magpul stock on it. Feels great gives me a great cheek wield and a little better hand/wrist angle. I also use the magpul stock on my mossy 500 but I prefer the 870. Ive pondering building/machining a small "adapter" that would allow me to use a 500 or 870 stock. Seems like a pretty basic setup. Has anyone ever tried or heard of anything like this? Or do I just sound
  7. Thanks guys. Picked up my front sight tool the other day. I've read about oiling it up for a while before trying to move it the first time. What kind out oil is best for this? A penetrating oil or just some old wd-40
  8. I just got my new saiga 7.62x39 a couple weeks ago. I am very excited since this is my only rifle besides my ruger 10/22 I've had since I was a kid. Just made my first trip to the range and wow this gun is fun to shoot. Its shooting about 5-6 inches right at 75 yard. I am looking for some advice from some experienced saiga shooters on if I should buy the $10 or so tool for to adjust the front sight or spend the $80 or so on a windage adj rear leaf. Thanks in advanced from a new member.
