^ true the 20's arent that bad comparitively, that 5rnd is the worst bang for the buck by far. If (hypothetically speaking) I was ever to buy one of those mossbergs (never gonna happen) I would buy nothing but the 20's as they are the best value for the money.
On a side note, thank you CSSPECS for supporting our hobby and producing quality magazines that nobody else could or cares to make. You have offered options that are not availible anywhere else, making quality,functional magazines in capacities that are not availible even from the oem (and with superior materials at that).

They make the 930 which is tube fed. Imo a poor candidate for the double stack, for one because they will leave the tube mag in place (just like the pump gun), which basically would serve no function and add uneccessary weight to the front end. They are also not regarded as reliable, and like many other traditional (non ak based) semi's they rely on fragile rubber o-rings and easily worn and dry rot prone components in their gas system.
I think Ian was getting at that they dont make a semi (or pump) that was designed to be box mag fed, which is true.
Imo, the doublestack being utilized in any of mossbergs current designs is a waste at best and more likely a completely impractical abomination.
Too bad you couldnt have worked out a deal with md arms, cause obviously youre not scared of producing products for obscure firearms. Which in the case of the S-12 pattern, actually seems to be the standard from which other box mag fed shotguns are designed around. Theres so many damn shotguns out there now that are S-12 mag compatible (or very slightly different, and could be easily adapted) its hard to keep up with all of them lol. I guess these manufacturers didnt get the memo that "the ak pattern shotgun market is dead", cause they just keep coming out with new ones lmao. These same guns are also compatible with other S-12 parts. Theres more ak based semi shotguns than EVER before!! Yes, thats right currently produced and sold. And good luck sanctioning the ks-12. Honestly this mossberg pump and a potential 930 semi are a joke.
The doublestacks are rediculously expensive as well ($94 for a 5rnd wtf!!!!) and thats from a retailer that generally has some of the lowest prices on mags out there.

I wonder how many and how big the ports are? Would it be possible they over did the ports in a attempt to shake the "reliability issues" of the saiga's? Out of spec (soft) rivets? Underpowered recoil spring? Hows the rear trunnion looking? Aft end of the carrier?
I wouldnt mind hearing what Mike Rogers thinks, it seems he has alot of experience with the ks-12, possibly ones with much higher round count.
Hopefully K-USA takes care of it. If it was mine and it was out of warranty, Id take a good look at the ports (possibility of needing a more restrictive regulator), maybe swap the recoil spring, remove the old rivets/inspect the reciever + rivet holes and then order some combloc spec rivets and re rivet the trunnion. Could be a good excuse to go side folder! The good news is that from all reports you can use any parts that will fit a S-12, so you have options in getting it sorted out.
Id love to see them release a "firearm" braced version of the ks-12, similar to the trench-12.

Well put, yes boycott these antiamerican companies and call them and or write them and let them know why they will not get our money!
One thing to consider though is the left has armies of career leeches/unemployed/non contributing zombies to sit around all day and call, email and protest. Thats not a luxury good/hard working/contributing americans have.
On another yet similar note, its time to use all their dirty tricks against them. Use every opportunity (comments on left wing blogs/videos, email reps etc..) to label them as racist (for hating black guns, wanting to disarm minorities etc..) call them unstable, anti american etc. Point out all the hypocrisies like one minute wanting police disarmed but then claiming only police should have guns.

Look to kydex sheath making, they polish trimmed edges and end up with a nice final product. Im sure you could find some info on youtube. Also I could swear they polish (wet sand paper + wd40) the polymer80 glock pistol builds to clean up and visually improve the polymer surfaces after filing/dremeling, maybe look at some of those vids.

In this vid mossberg gives credit to adaptive tactical for the magazines.
When you look at the way adaptive tactical "venom" box mag system attaches, it is clear that they developed the feed tower portion and likely the magwell. They are most likely producing the complete mag.

My guess is that mossberg took the already existing adaptive tactical "venom" system, had them tweak the mag release and attachment slightly, then bought out the double stack design rights from MD arms and boom..now you have the abomination known as the 590m.
One thing to note - adaptive tactical is still selling their "venom" box mag conversion and mags so evidently they were able to retain the rights to that system. Smart on their part..now theyre making money off of mossberg, making money selling conversion kits + their own mags, making money selling kits for remington 870 all while retaining the sole rights to their feed tower/attachment design. Thats how its done.

Remington seems to think a braced "fire arm" is legal. Matter of fact they offer their tac-14 with brace right off the shelf!

As far as modifying the actual brace..like adding a rubber pad to the end of a blade, or epoxying a rubber sb tactical to make more stiff..they will most likely find that to be illegal and extort you for tax money or prison time.

These companies are going to learn that the civillian sales are what keep them afloat, .gov only buys from the lowest bidder and try's to get shit for damn near free. Thats how alot of these companies get their foot in the door, they damn near give away weapons and accessories to .gov and le so they can then advertise the fact that their product is "in use" with whatever agency..which in turn drives civilian sales at full price.

heres it mocked up with vepr 12 stock
- the same outlook/ideas that affect all ak type firearms in the U.S. (commie weapon, crude, ergonomics, not easily modified or repaired with common hand tools by non skilled people etc..)
- the funky handguard that cant really be switched out with a standard ak hand guard, or to any other hand guard without purchasing extra adapter and non railed, short stormwerkes hand guard. And it has a unthreaded barrel.
I believe the nak-9 will be more sucessfull because of the standard handguard and factory threading.

don't really get on the forum much anymore.. well any forum for that matter.. work is just nuts.. but just wanted to stop by and share my new pistol.. I had originally planned to get a stamp but I am not sure I even need it now.. might just leave it be.. I saw a lot of hate for this gun.. LOL but it actually shoots really well.. and has so far been reliable..

My point is that in the niche world of 12g AK's the doubles are going to sell.
Look at how the MD20 sold and you didn't see it marketed like junk ass ProMag or SGM.
The market is there, even if new guns aren't coming in.
You are a smart man! Theres more S-12/V-12 and clones then ever. S-12/V-12/KS-12/DDI-12/Trench 12/Lynx and more coming (like the new tristar bull pup). Theres more damn shotguns that take S-12/V-12 type mags then when the russians were coming in. And guess what? You dont have to be a rocket surgeon to figure out that they will all need MULTIPLE extra mags! Prefferably reliable,quality mags with good capacity. And dont forget firing pins,extractors,springs,bolts,carriers etc etc..you know, the stuff that keeps the gun from becoming an extremely expensive paperweight. The stuff that is not currently availible and you would have a complete monopoly on if offered for sale.

It would probably be easier to shoehorn one into a 930, but presumably Mossberg is planning to do just that.
They will if theyre smart, double stack mag in a pump is a sick joke. Even in the 930 you still have a wasted tube, uneccessary weight, bulk etc..poor platform for this type of mag. Double stack deserves a reciever that was meant for detachable box mags from the get go. It would make alot more sense on the Saiga/Vepr(and clones) or a ar-10 based design. Still think MD couldve retained the sole rights to the mag body at least, let mossberg develop whatever feed tower they needed (collect licensing fees for mag body) and going that route,couldve just developed different feed tower portions to be utilized on different platforms(rock n lock,magwell saiga/vepr, ar-10 and any future designs). Instead of being limited to a single (possibly two) shotguns that not ideal. Im not buying this "s-12 market is dead" stuff, yes s-12/V-12's are not coming in now but theres more shotguns based on the kalashnikov pattern now then there ever was. And one thing is for sure..a mag fed semi without reliable mags is basically a single shot and or paperweight. Make the parts and mags and people will buy them if they are quality. Theres alot of kalasnikov based shotguns that will be reduced to scrap metal due to simple wear parts like extractors being unobtainable or even bolt heads and carriers.

I am very very saddened with how public life has been going lately, and all of these mass shootings that you and I could have prevented or stopped...

Its like people have kids that will only eat cheeseburgers and fries from mcdonalds? Guess what? If you dont bring them to mcdonalds theyll never know what garbage food they are missing!
Youre right though, this whole mess of a world is ours and the forefathers fault. They should have been more specific about what our rights are and stregnthened the rules as far as making it impossible to infringe on those rights. We should have nipped alot of the civil rights crap in the bud. We should have never allowed any communist anti american ideas to go unpunished. We should have kept extremely strict voting regulations. We should have kept the proven successful formula of the traditional roles of men and women intact. We should have immediately destroyed ANY resistance to our way of life. Sometimes I believe the freedoms that have made our country so great will also be the cause of our destruction.

Review your childrens school work and talk to them about what they learned, so you know what kind of horse trash is being beat into their heads. The best option? Remove your children from school and home school them! Thats right, you CAN make that happen. You may need to sacrifice in other areas, like give up your $700 iphone, luxury car, 70" flat screen and expensive wastefull vacations but you can homeschool your children if it is more important to you than those material things that you dont actually need. You could pay for home tutoring in combination with your own efforts. Your kid wouldnt be in a classroom with a bunch of heathens, wouldnt be brainwashed into thinking the founding fathers were terrorists and their chances of dying in a school shooting would be..ZERO!

Made in ct but according to std website they wont sell to ct..lol Things are weird in that area of the country. ct has "constitution state" on their license plates, what a sick joke. They should change it to "constitution infringement state".
Im wondering what the gas system is like? If you get it apart take some pics.
