Granddaughter is turning 16, and is into archery. I need recommendations for a re-curve bow and practice arrows. She is a tiny little thing not yet 5' but full of LIFE! Living in Baltimore so I cannot get her measured here in TX - so anyone know what I need to know to get her a set up that works for her?

The Wife's S-.410 became a jam-o-matic. Buggers steel hulls, mushes plastic ones. On a hunch I bought some Winchester Super X with 5 000 buck, the kind that was made for the Judge" pistols.
SUCCESS this ammo has a heavy roll crimp, one with a large enough radius to enter the breech without getting all buggered up. I had only bought 2 5 round boxes to test, as I was not expecting any
remarkable results, just thought I would give it a try. Now to order a bucking funch more prove the reliability.
Hope this helps. Note that this is an early gun without the adjustable gas system. The throw weight of 5 .360 lead balls cycles this action with authority, but does not feel over gassed at all.

A tale of NRA pomposity and duplicity.
There was a Rod and Gun club in Prince George's Co. MD. The ONLY one. It was the Berwinn Rod and Gun Club,It was a happy place for many years. Nothing lasts forever, the once Conservative Local Government became a NYC Liberal playground. They said that the Club was a MENACE and that ALL lead MUST be cleaned up and the range FOREVER closed. The NRA offered NOTHING! All hope was lost.
The NRA went around using this as an example of a failed Club and that this Club would never return, it was a lost cause.
Unknown to the NRA, some members of this club had used NRA and other information, and worked closely with Park and Planning. They got themselves a huge loan. ALL the lead was removed. Proper "no blue sky" overhead baffles were installed. The Club met all requirements of the Park and planning Commission and received a coveted "GREEN SPACE" designation.
The DAY that the Club reopened the NRA published their article on how THIS Club had failed and as I remember their tone was SMARMY and arrogant as always with the warning DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOUR CLUB!

Dicks payed for it all, let them destroy it. However, I see a FAT lawsuit by stockholders - they are the ACTUAL owners of it, and would have the right to be compensated for the loss.
Maybe Yeti will have some unhappy stock holders too...

The battle against the forces of socialism CANNOT be won unless and until we FIRST disassemble those 'unions' of Public Employees. By DEFINITION they exist for the single reason - TO PUT THEIR WILL AND AGENDA ABOVE THE WILL AND WELFARE OF THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER.
Public Employees now control the ENTIRE union movement, Our Children's "teachers" have become their SOCIALIST INDOCTRINATORS!
