I have read several people posting that the sheet metal used for a Saiga stamped steel receiver is thicker then the average AK stamped receiver. Is this true? How does it compare, or is this just a myth?
I have a CETME and for the price, it would be hard to beat the fun for the dollars. Tha being said, a Saiga in .308 with a "hi cap" mad and pistol grip would make a great toy to add to the old gun safe.
