  1. I have removed the two pins, but how do you get the complete front site block off?
  2. You either use a binding post to fill one pair of old pin holes, then wrap the old retainer spring around that, as shown here: http://www.cross-conn.com/Saiga_Conversion/Step_7.htm Or you dispense with the old retainer in favor of a more traditional device, like the AK "shepherd's hook", E-clips, or the RSA retainer plate. The "shepherd's hook" is the colloquial name for the traditional hammer/trigger pin retaining wire found in AK-type rifles. See above. No idea, I don't own any milled rifles. The stamped safety is what you'll need if you're thinking about upgrading to a SWI
  3. I pick up my S223 on wednesday, and yes I am going to attempt to convert it on my own . But I have a few questions. Yes I tried the search option, but did not find the answers I need. 1. How do you install the retention spring for the hammer and trigger pin since the rear factory pins will be removed? 2. What is a sheppards hook, and do I need one? 3. What is the difference between a stamped and milled safety? And why are they not interchangable? 4. Does anyone have a side view picture or cad drawing of the FCG to ensure I don't screw it up? Thanks in advance.....
  4. Ace Stocks Galil Grip Page Hope this helps....
  5. Ok, not exactly the mag, but the mag converter. I have recently found a guy that has galil/M16 mag converters. They look like they would work, and you would be able to use an abundent magazine. Anyone tried this, or am I just retarded?
  6. I'm currently using a Browning OU for Dove hunting, and am looking at possibly getting an S20 instead. Does anyone have any advise good or bad on using the S20?
  7. True, they are just the importer, however, I guess I should have elaborated at bit further. Since they are re-introduced back into the States, I was wondering if they are the same, or if Izhmash did some mods to make it harder to convert?
  8. Ok, I know they what RAA and EAA stands for. But is there any differences in them in the realm of conversion. I have read that RAA rifles come with the bullet guide already drilled and that the trigger plate is either part of or really well welded on instead of spot welded. Obviously, getting an EAA is going to be harder, I have an RAA on order and want to do a conversion, I just need to know what is in my future.
