    12ga hi-cap mags?

The last e-mail that I got from Tantal was about a month ago (so this may not be current). He said that he was out of the Saga-12 5 rounders. But the good news is that he said he has got some Saiga parts(!) in stock and is in the process of sorting through them to make a price guide/list. Wonder what kind of goodies he's got for us?
  2. The folding butt stack would most likely requirer a reenforcement plate in the receiver like anAK-103 variant, right? You will, I quess want to use a singe hook trigger. Asfar as barrel length goes, I would not go under 18.5". I would talk more about this, but got to go!!
  3. As far as the SKS goes, always go Russian. They are the best but they'll cost ya $. The SKS that uses normal AK mags is called a Norinco Sporter. Stay away from this gun, they're junk IMHO. There are a few good (factory made)AK riffles out right now, depending on how muh you want send determands what you should get. Saiga, Vepr-k, or Arsenal Inc (Bulgaria or Nevada) all make very nice and accurate 7.62 guns. Alot of it will come down to personal prefrence and money.
  4. Hey Mephis! I'm new to Saigas, so is the 12c the one with the pistol grip? If so you should look inside the receiver of an AK-47 ( stamped receiver type ) to see what the Saiga-12 is originally suposed to be like. After looking at my friends Saiga you will need some basics: pistol grip and hardware, trigger guard with mag release, fire control group, and butt stock. Good luck and may the AWB sunset treat you as good as it will me!

    12ga hi-cap mags?

Hey guys, noobie here. My bud ATD just got a Saiga 12. I shot it a couple times. Loved it. Got to get one myself! Anyway I been doing the AK thing for a while now and this is what I did for "higher cap" mags: take an empty mag stick it in your gun, take another empty mag, turn it upside down. Match it up with mag that's in the gun already(side by side), tape the mags together! (like a Mag-cinch only cheaper) Now before you guys fry me listen, I have only done this to 7.62x39 30 rd waffle mags. This might not work with Saiga-12 mags because of how the top shell sits in there. But if I had a Saiga
  6. After looking at some pics of the Russians fighting in Chechnya, I have noticed all their special forces units that use Saiga shotguns have muzzle brakes on them. There must be some reason for this. The muzzle brakes must be effective some how, otherwise they would not waste time/money putting them on the gun. If you've ever shot slugs out of your Saiga (I have), you'll want that muzzle brake!
  7. I would be interested in the EKP-8-2. If you are still wanting to sell PM me.
