    Scott just sent me 50 of his 410 8 slot Flash Hiders for the 410.

    They are extremely well made and I really like the look of them.

    They thread on to the existing threads.

    Great Products. Both of my 410's now wear one. It is 2 3/4" length.

    "Little silver things" = overtravel stops :haha:

     

     

    They're not found in all the Saigas, just the shotguns and I believe the .308 model.

     

    Ah, but if I said overtravel stops then i would have unveiled my master plan... :devil:

    Up for sale is a new Izhmash Tactical grip with a New Russian Bolt and nut. I removed it from the package to take the picts.

    I purchased this with the intention of using it on my sons Saiga 410 build but I ended up using a K-Var grip and pistol grip plate.

     

    While to some cash may be King, I am more interested in a trade so I have listed a shipped price and 2 possible trade considerations.

    2. Even trade for a new/like new Factory 2 round Mag

     

    3. Grip, Bolt and Nut + CASH for a new/like new Factory 8 Round Mag.

    Does the regular rifle front retaining latch for the stock work with the 410?

    Yes and no...

     

    I am converting my .410 in a similar fashion.

    The latch and pin fit just fine but when the spring is installed it is in the way of the mag well.

     

    I had to bend the long leg of the spring in order for me to insert a mag.

     

    After bending the spring I was concerned that there was not enough tension on the pin to keep it in place. so I used a 3/16" e clip to retain the pin. All is good now.

  12. G2 trigger mods: how difficult?

    Agreed - That's one thing I do not mess with - I would hate to screw up a perfectly good trigger set by getting a little heavy handed with a file...

     

    Through all of my builds and conversions I have learned on thing... You don't have to do everything yourself. There are several people who are willing to do service and make custom parts that do a great job for a reasonable price. In many instances it is just not worth the hassle.

     

    In the scheme of things an extra $25 to have someone re-contour the hammer profile, shorten the pin leg for the BHO latch, polish all of the contact surfaces and re-black the hammer is a pretty good deal in my book.

    I am looking for a threaded barrel ends for a S-12 and a S-410.

    If some one shortened a barrel and has the threaded end I would like to have it for a project/concept.

    Copes had a very few of the triangle sets in stock last week, very expensive and probably out by now. They were the 4.5mm hinge pin model.

     

    ORF is reported to have a few of the triangle sets.

    Thanks for the links. My issue is that I already have the poly stock. I just need the bal of the hardware (Trunnion, Hunge Pin, Lock, Spring, Lock Retainer Pin, Catch, Catch Spring & Catch Pin.

     

    To my limited knowledge, Oleg is the only game in town for the latches. I may have to hit him up for the Trunnion Parts.

     

    Still, PM me with an address an I'll send you a decal.

  23. Took the 410 out for a test drive...

    Took the boy and his Saiga 410 out to a friends property to give it a test drive. We were shooting 3" Federal Hi-Brass #4 Shot. Everything worked flawlessly.

    The best part was he had a great time and has already asked 10 times about when we can go back and shoot some more.
