  1. Hey madmilo thanks for the ideas. I totally forgot about pin shoots and how fun they are. The ones I've seen most of the projectiles get stuck in them or go threw them. I highly doubt there is a possiblity of a return shot from a bowling pin. Plus whats more fun then bowling with bullets! Time to start calling some local alleys
  2. So I'll need some dragon skin armor and a bullet proof helmet huh... :-( This is the video I believe you were talking about.
  3. I think if I do aluminum then I use a slug I'm going to have aluminum pan confetti. I want something I can shoot at a few times. I live in New Mexico and just plan on going out somewhere in the desert to shoot. Thanks for the input though. :-)
  4. Gives cause it is hanging from a chain or metal gives? How am I going to cut the edge off a cast iron skillet? Gives cause it is hanging from a chain or propped up, yes. As for the cutting, do you know anybody that works at a garage or a machine shop? Oh I think i see why people are saying cut off the edges cause they think I will be shooting at the face of them? I plan on hanging it from something like a metal hanger so it cann't twist in the wind. I'm going to be shooting at the back of them. But the wire will still allow them to swing away from me. So I don't really have

  6. When I see compititions where they have the targets fall when hit. Do they have a chance of bounce backs also? I've seen a few on youtube.
  7. At about 25 yards does anyone know how much there saiga would penetrate a steal sheet? I'm wondering how thick a sheet I would need to make some reusable targets for myself. If anyone has done this let me know or where I could buy some that are reasonably priced that I won't destroy after a few 100 hits. Thanks I'm thinking about using the back of some various size cast iron skillets since they are pretty cheap. Having them hanging from a length of metal cable so I can easily transport it with a few metal pipes. Anyone know the chances of a ricoshay? ( I don't feel like shooting
  8. Are there going to be beta test samples?
  9. Still no saiga 12's out there? I'm beginning to think I'm going to be paying $500+ for a new unfired...
  10. I'm still looking for them. Anyone see them in stock anywhere? I only see them on gunbroker now for $475 Looking for saiga 12 with threaded barrel. Also whats the differences in a 19 inch barrel and 24 inch? 24 is going to just be more acurate at longer ranges? (tighter group?)
  11. Thanks ShiniGami, I just don't want them to have a ban on them in 2 or 3 months when I could have got one for $50 more then I wanted. Hope to get your PM soon.
  12. Thanks Semiautoken, But the ones on armsofamerica.com don't look to have a threaded barrel. Atlantic Firearms If it doesn't sell on your auction can I buy it from your site? Also do you give any discounts if people buy say like an Ar-15 also? Just curious
  13. Atlantic Firearms, is out of stock... Here is the link for $390 from on point fire arms. They are out of stock, and not sure when they will be getting them in. Last time I talk to someone it sounded like they were taking names for a back order list. http://www.onpointsupply.com/cart.php?targ...p;substring=RAA
  14. Yup, I don't know if I'm cheap but $390 compaired to $440 I'd rather use that $50 to buy a mag. Also whats the deal with the 3% credit card fee. I mean do they expect me to send them a check or box of cash... Who's going to make a purchase over $200 on the internet and not do it with a credit card... Seems like ebay pig-ishium
  15. Anyone know who has a Saiga 12 with threaded barrel for sale online or any dealers in New mexico? Everywhere I go even when it says "instock" and I try to order one. Come to find out its on either back order or not in stock and don't know when it will be in. Also I'd rather not deal with gunbroker.com since I want a new never owned. Also if its not too much to ask a price of $390 to $400
  16. You can get some snap caps on ebay for about $15 might be worth the investment. Also where did you purchase yours? I'm having trouble finding someone in stock.
  17. No I ment this link. http://www.onpointsupply.com/cart.php?targ...substring=saiga So can I shoot it without adding an external choke or will it mess something up on the threads? It looks like polychoke wants people to send their guns to their factory to do the install... It's not just something I can screw on myself? I really like the idea of an adjustable choke but I don't really want to send it to a factory... :-( Also does a slug have any problems passing threw a tight choke or will it damage it in anyway?
  18. I keep seeing Sight Base, and Muzzle Adapter on some places to buy. I'm pretty sure sight base is for scopes and such just like a rifle correct? Muzzle Adapter I believe is for a choke correct? So if I do buy a saiga with a muzzle adapter can I fire it without putting a choke on or will that damage whatever is at the end to attach a choke? Anyone had a link to some affordable chokes or are they all at least 100 each? Thanks for dealing with my noob questions.

  20. Thanks Jim, I would like to use a 10 round mag, but I'm not planning on using a conversion. I would just like to buy one that I can put a 10 round mag in and use at the shooting range. I've also seen a 20 round magazine drum but haven't been able to find a seller online. Are they legal? I was told pretty much everything is legal in New Mexico... Also not to be a smart ass but how do "they" know if you actually replaced parts to comply with the 922R law? If I was to buy an S12 and want to use a 10 round mag, the 10 round mag counts as 3 parts and I could add on a buttstock cushion whic
  21. How many companies make saiga's? I know RAA does and Izhmash. But are is there a company that produces lesser quality guns or should I not worry about who produced it. Is there anything that should I worry about since I'm close to purchasing one? Also you have to change 3 parts for US made ones to comply with the law?
