Thanks BobAsh!! Info is great!! One other question? Do you have a pic of the bolt? I think I know the trick. shorten as far as possible then hollow tappet to achieve 4" reduction in length while keeping integrity of bolt. PS What bulk ammo does that monster eat without indegestion?? Thanks again

Thanks rocinante I totally understand and appreciate your warning. I'm not a beginner, I'm a toolmaker with 30yrs exp. and I work with a gunsmith and we have both worked with many gas systems. AK AR M14 Start out with small gas puck and work up to proper size to allow enough pressure to cycle. I may build my own gas tube so I don't destroy the original. Worst case It won't cycle. I have seen my bud destroy a AR upper and lower building a corbon pistol with reworked gas system eliminating the stock buffer tube, but finally it works!! Thanks again Hey Guy I'm in Norcross

Any pics or info on SBS s12's 8" and 10" Gas system? Port sizes? How many? If I move the gas block back 4" Do I cut the crimped section out then reinstall gas block? Then vary the gas adjustment puck dia til it cycles It does not look like I can cut the piston rod the full 4" About to cut and need info Thanks
