  1. Hello all. This is my first post here. I'm finding some good information. The best advice I've ever heard regarding SHTF scenarios came from a Romanian friend of mine who's been there. He said "Get a good cheap rifle and 200 rounds. Use 100 rounds to learn to shoot the rifle and save the other 100 rds. If you ever find yourself in a firefight 100 rounds is all you'll need, because before you shoot all 100 rounds, your either going to be carrying your enemies rifle and ammo, or you'll be dead.
  2. Hello to all, I'm new to the Saiga forums. I just shot my 7.62x39 Saiga for the first time today. I was impressed by the function and accuracy. It seemed to hit really hard on the steel targets. I think your first Saiga should be a 7.62x39. Ammo is cheap, AK mags are cheap (for those who do the bullet guide modifications.) and parts seem readily available for conversions. I intend to get all of them if I can.
