I got a referral to a guy here who makes wood stocks for Saiga x39s. I saw a pic and was particularly interested. Can someone help me find this gentleman? I'd like to buy a stock or two from him.

I have no desire to convert my saiga. I like it the way it is, and I got a great deal on magazines - 8 for 100. 10rnds is ok for me... i have ARs and FALs if I want lots of capacity. However, I do want a new stock. My hand isn't comfortable at all with the crappy hollow stock.

something nifty about the RFB i forgot to mention. not only is the rifle ambidexdtrous, the magaziens are drop free - in otherwords, no rocking in of the magazine as in FAL and AK and mini14... straight push, and when you hit the lever the mag drops out on its own. not even the aug can do this. unfortunately, the price is likely about $1700 =( For that much I can get two newly rebuilt FALs, slings, and a battle set of magazines for each.

Yes, that is Oleg Volk from THR. He is a friend of mine and I am proud to have him doing work for us. Yes, our FALs are pretty good. I have five - DSA, IMBEL, EAI EAI EAI. They all shoot the same, really, except for the Century FAL built on an IMBEL receiver... they could have made the gun a lot better had the build be more careful. But the price is pretty different. I'm pretty tired right now and I have to do a lesson plan for tomorrow, but here are a few pictures I took today. When you sign up for SHOT they tell you that photography is strictly forbidden and if they catch you they will delete your photos and kick you out immediately. However, it turns out that most exhibitors want you to take photos and dont mind at all if you do. Tomorrow I will take a lot more (and wear something less unflattering to my gut).
