Interesting story and video I found while browsing some international news. Rarely see videos like that on our news... pretty cool yet very creepy at the same time. http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Frnd.cnews.ru%2Ftech%2Fnews%2Fline%2Findex_science.shtml%3F2013%2F04%2F10%2F525418

So, anybody familiar with this device? https://halix.co/innovations.html I'm wondering what the ATF thinks of this thing, if it's actually 100% legal, and if it is, if it's actually practical, or just a gimmick. Personally, I'll be laughing my ass off until I get a chance to dislocate my jaw with one.

WTS a Geiger counter that is almost 20 years overdue for calibration. It uses a single D cell, and when switched to circuit check, the needle swings to the far right where it is supposed to. I do not have access to any sources of radiation that would register on this thing for a real test. $100 $90 shipped. This has been stored without a battery to keep the contacts free of corrosion, and will ship without a battery. A worker at the nearby Ft. Calhoun nuclear plant looked at it, and told me it is basically only good for telling you how fucked you are - if it's registering, you're done.
