Hello all, I have a few questions regarding the parts for conversions and modification of some magazines for LRBHO. First: Looking at the conversion kits at California Shooters Supply at my options for converting my newly purchased IZ-433, and I have some concerns about the trigger guard. I don't really see any information showing if either of the trigger guard options will interfere with the tab up front for the mag well. I would imagine the answer is no, but I have no way to make a real mock up other than to use the pins in the receiver for an approximate of where the trigger guard will e -
Hello all, I am looking to get a mka 1919 xn or br 99 for home defense purposes. I have some ideas as to how I would like to modify/customize it, but would love some ideas and feedback from you guys. Feel free to critique the following and/or offer up the best HD builds you can think of (on or off a budget). My current thinking is as follows: to not go sbs at the moment due to cost and time. Howdy yall Problem: Trying to improve cheek weld on Polish Underfolder with red dot. Samson riser doesnt fit... What next? Background: My beautiful Polish AK, utilizing a NoDak receiver and a Primary Arms red dot is amazing! I just would like a better cheek weld for it. I purchased the Samson riser, incredibly excited to use it, and it didn't fit. This weapon is easily my favorite rifle. I had an idea today and I wonder if anyone has tried it already. Everyone has seen the shark breaks and such that make a muzzle device such as a break or flash hider double as a sort of pronged bayonet-like weapon. I was wondering if anyone has grinded down the Vortex Flash Eliminator like so: My concern is that it would hinder the flash hiding ability. This would be unacceptable. In addition to grinding down the prongs to form sort of edged teeth prongs (probably sharpened), I was also wanting to grind down the extra thick neck because it seems thicker, and therefore heavier, than ne
