ironhead7544 35 Posted June 24, 2006 Report Share Posted June 24, 2006 Saw an interesting gun at a pawn shop today. Someone had built up a Galil type gun using a Poly Tech AK. Had the forearm, sights, pistol grip, bipod, charging handle, etc. They wanted 950.00. Anyone seen one of these? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
6500rpm 670 Posted June 25, 2006 Report Share Posted June 25, 2006 There was one on Gunbroker a while back, looked pretty nice, but bottom line is that it's still a stamped receiver AK. One of the better AK clone Galil's that I've seen was from a member that used a milled Bulgarian receiver and a lot of Galil parts. Only thing it needed at last post I saw was the old rear sight base shaved off. Might want to search Gunbroker under Galil and see if you find another. The one I ran across also had an HK rear sight rather than a Gailil with tritium flip up's and something like a krink front sight base/gas block combo. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
