AKMaster 0
I was at a gunstore and saw a shotgun that looked like a Saiga. The only markings said SAS12. Is it a Saiga? It has wood furniture. What is it worth. I'm trying to convincing my wife that $169 is a good price.
IndyArms 10,186
The SAS12 is a norinco. and NO it is NOT a saiga. also... be REALLY sure its got wood furniture... all I ever knew had wood colored plastic on them! $169.00 is a very fair price!!! If it is in GOOD shape, I would pick it up!! They are very decent lil shotties for the money... and look cool with the box mag hanging down below them.
BattleRifleG3 16
That is really more of the going price. They proved to be unpopular, mainly due to their fit and finish, inability to take steel shot, and the unfamiliarity of the public with them.
AKMaster 0
After posting thisI googled it. When I first saw it I said Shit a Saiga 12 for $169. Ithought it was a miracle. But of course I never get that lucky
TonyRumore 1,332
I have one of those SAS shotguns. Personally, I think it's built pretty well compared to the Saiga. But due to it's design, it is much more difficult to modify into something guys would really want. Mag capacity is only three rounds, but they can be expanded to four fairly easily. I also had to beef up the extractor spring to get mine to run reliably. They will only run 2.75" shells though. At one time they were $100 from Century. BattleRifleG3 16
$100 wholesale plus shipping and transfer fees will start to close in on your local price tag.
Gaddis 1,689
Mag capacity is only three rounds, but they can be expanded to four fairly easily. Huh? I've got five five round mags laying next to the SAS-12 I have downstairs.
