warthog 1
Where can I find some of the steel cased .410's? Slugs or buck would be fine. How much does it run? Is this the stuff for my Saiga? I have been shooting .410's a long time at skeet. I have all Win AA hulls but no 3" ones. Since the .410 Saiga is new to me, I need to know what to try. TIA Edited June 29, 2006 by warthog
Cobra 76 two 2,677
People have had mixed results with the Barnaul steel cased ammo but I love it. Mainly I shoot the 97 gr. slugs (6.3 gr) but also have some in #2 and #4. Theres a pic on the box of a Russian dude with a Saiga so i would say yes it's supposed to work well in all of em. The 3" 410 shells can be finicky feeders in some S-410s depending on how clean the gas system is, how broke in the recoil spring is, and which mags you are using (also how well they fit). Sometimes the 410 mags need a little filing to sit in the gun right. I believe you can get it from Sportsman's Guide but i always pick mine up at gunshows. http://www.barnaulammunition.com/shotgun.htm http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=119320
warthog 1
Thanks but they always seem to be sold out of any ammo I want. Gun shows around here are either non existent or full of beef jerky and crafts with little to do with guns. Especially "Evil" guns that have "no purpose in civilian hands."
