45leadslinger 0
macrophage, did you get those mags? How did they work? Here are some questions answered by tantal: Paul, these magazines are specified for both 2 3/4 and 3". At least that is what the factory instructions specify. I think I also have some of the 20 gauge magazines that will only fit the 2 3/4" shell, if you want those. I would be glad to divide the magazines up any way you wish. macrophage 0
Got the five pack last monday. Just a few days after I paid for them. Very nice. The pack consisted of 1 2-3/4 mag and 4 3" mags that are supposed to be able to digest the 2-3/4 and the 3". I haven't posted a reply about them because tomorrow is my range day. I will do another post after I have run a few rounds through them all. I am a little skeptical about the 3" mags feeding the 2-3/4 rounds reliably, though, but I haven't shot anything though them yet, so I can't tell. I bet they will do fine on the 3" shells though. As an afterthought, I have four the 3" mags now. I only need two. If anyone wants to swap me 2-3/4 mag(s) for the 3, I would be inclined to do so. Mac p.s., Tantal was great. I would recommend him. 45leadslinger 0
Just gpt the 5 in today. haven't had a chance to shoot but they cycle the 2 3/4 fine. The packaging says they are for the 3 and 2 3/4 inch and I believe that is true. Macrophage I have onw 2 3/4 and one 3 inch I will trade for two of your new 5 round mags from tantal, Just as long there is letter "K" on the sides of the mags. The ones that come with our guns that don't interchange rounds come with an "H" on the side. Don't ask me what the diffence is, as I can't see any, all I know is that they work. Sweet! So Macrophage are you up for the trade? Thank God for Tantal and BlackJack Buffers Two of the best!!!!!
macrophage 0
Sure thing. I can trade the magazines. I did make it to the range and shot a bunch of wally world cheap ammo through the mags. The multipurpose ones did not do as well as the 2 and three quarter inch ones did. 1 round out of the five I would usually get a failure to feed. The round's head would get caught before going into the chamber. This usually resulted in a misformed head, and the round wound up going to my son to use in his break action. I am pretty sure the multipurpose mags will work fine with 3" ammo though. If you still want to trade, send me a note to spamthornell@comcast.net Thanks, Mac
