I'm thinking about parts to get for when I do my PG conversion and I'm thinking of going with an OD green set of these. However, I'm not sure if the two piece handguards will fit. Has anybody done this? If so, did you have to modfiy anything? If so, what and how difficult was it to do? Also, I think I'm going to parkerize for a refinish. Parkerized grey and OD green furniture. Jeric has been working on a two piece handguard system that would use proprietary handguards, but you couldn't stick synth ones on it. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Actually, all my furniture will swap out with any standard AK furniture. Plastic or Wood. You just have to hog out the lower HG to fit the barrel. Also, that retainer I sell will work with the Tapco Galil handguards. They're 2 piece bolt together and cover the gas tube on top if you didn't want to dicker with all the cutting & fitting of the RSB/AK upper retainers, etc... Quote Link to post Share on other sites
