rbthntr64 21 Posted February 5, 2007 Report Share Posted February 5, 2007 (edited) Just got my 2.5" mag today. There is quite a difference. Unlike the 3" mag, the 2.5 does not have metal feed lip and the follower is at a steaper angle. The follower also holds the shell closer to the front of the mag. The 2.5"/65mm mag is on the left and the 3"/76mm mag is on the right. I had to remove some plastic at the front of the 3" mag to clear the folding stock pin, the 2.5" mag already had this done from the factory. Both are shown with the 2.5" shells. Here are some pics.
