magazines and bullet guides

Recommended Posts

What is the hoopla about a bullet guide?? are they ALWAYS needed, or just when using bulgarian magazines? I was "told" that saiga modified magazines (the $50.00 ones) don't need bullet guides to feed properly.

I've come to the conclusion of: Saiga mags=no bullet guide. Non Saiga mags=you need a guide.

I'm holding off on buying a .223 saiga until I find out the deal with this.

Surefire makes welded up mags for the Saiga and they work good with no bullet guide needed.

I replied to your email bro, here's a link to my bullet guide post. There's a downloadable .pdf file for you that shows you the mods for the mags and what mags you can use with my guides.
