St Michael 0
My converted G3 mags are merely relieved at the sides of the front. That's all that needs to be done to use them in an unconverted Saiga .308? Or do tabs need to be added front and rear?

Pics will be coming very very soon.

cpileri 0
So tell us all about it! What do you mean the rifle is far from unconverted? How's the new mag adapter attach? Is it easy to do? Are you selling a few? etc? etc? C-
BattleRifleG3 16
Hope to sell a few this winter. Have to finish this semester first. Rifle conversion requires dremeling out of mag well and mag guides, and removing the cross-post from the receiver. Adaptor mounts by locking the front in like mag, and screwing the rear end into a hole already in the receiver from the old lower receiver plate. Easy? I'd say it's a step up from doing a hi-cap conversion on a Saiga 223, which is a step up from the standard P-grip conversion. Doesn't require an expert, but does require some skill. As a fan of all Saigas, I'd recommend converting another first to build up to this, or just convert your 308 to P-grip before doing the mag adaptor. It indexes on parts already on the rifle, so you don't have to measure anything to precision, just cut to clear the new mags. You're looking at the beta version. I hope to have a slightly better finished and polished version to sell.
