brain3278 1
I've put about 300 to 400 rounds through my Bersa .380 so far. Its about 6 months old. Recently I've been experiencing a problem. When the gun is clean I fired one magazine of 7+1 rounds of Monarch green box through it. I then reloaded the same stock magazine (its a Bersa Mag from the factory, came with it brand new). Fired 3 rounds and it jammed. Fired two more and it jammed. The rounds are going nose up every time. By nose up I mean they are ending up stuck perpindicular to the barrel between the back of the barrel and the slide/firing pin. My ramp looks fine, no dents. I have cleaned the gun a couple of times and then tried again to see if it will work. I cleaned the magazine and lubed. I have used Remmington hollow points, they jammed as well in the same manor. I think the problem is with my magazine. a couple of times when loading my magazine the follower has gotten temporarily stuck. I usually just have to tap it and everything is fine. Help me solve this! Its my wifes favorite pistol. Thanks, Brain3278
JDthegunnut 0
I would say that the mag spring is worn/weak or maybe the sides of the mag need a little lube, stove piping is usually a mag problem in my experience.
