kal 0
What do you have to do to a Saiga 223 magazine well for it to accept unmodified Galil mags, orlite and steel? I like the idea of a 223 AK but I'd rather stick with one type of magazine. Seeing how I plan on getting a 223 Galil in the future, it would be nice if both the galil and the Saiga use the same mag. I don't own a Saiga either, but if the conversion won't take much then I might go for one.
Bad Bob 0
What do you have to do to a Saiga 223 magazine well for it to accept unmodified Galil mags, orlite and steel? It is my impression (based on my experience with steel Galil 12-rd mags) that you do not have to do ANYTHING to the Saiga mag well to accept steel Galil mags. However, you may have to modify the mags. My experience is summarized here, under "4) Magazine modifications possibly required to use .223/5.56 steel Galil mags in your .223 Saiga:" http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=14852 Obviously, others may have different thoughts on the subject...
