One thing that AKs do is that in rapid fire strings, the heat up fast just infront of the magwell. that is the reason for the funky hump in the lower HG, to keep your hand away from that part. If you burn theu ALOT of ammo fast, the forend will be hard to hold onto, unlike the nicely shielded AR. it is a weakness, but you should be aware of it. Sorry about the really bad spelling.
