gjj 0
I just bought a new Saiga. It has the standard 10 round polymer magazine. I am curious about how durable they are long term? Does the plastic stand up to use well? This is the first gun I have owned with plastic mags. Will they last?
JK-47 33
I have yet to hear a complaint or problem originating from the factory mags, except maybe that they are on the expensive side for a 10 rounder.
uzitiger 193
The only complaint I had about the Saiga 10 round magazines was the price but Krebs sells them for $16. I still haven't converted mine to take AK mags even though I have the feed ramp made which will allow me to use both Saiga and AK mags.
meangreen 0
The plastic mags are top notch. They should NEVER give you problems.
MrTuffPaws 2
Yep. They should outlast you. Just ordered 5 from Krebs and received them. Good stuff.
csspecs 1,987
If mine had come with 3-4 ten rounders I would have never converted it.
gjj 0
That is good to hear about the magazines. I was concerned the plastic magazine lips wouldn't hold up over time. I already have a couple traditional AKs. I live in California. I will probably just keep the rifle in stock configuration and use it as a short range jackrabbit and coyote gun.
